Russian culture is a deeply rooted type of culture, that dates back to the time where the makeup of the Russian community was filled with many who took on the pagan beliefs that were associated with the East Slavs. The time was the 850s A.D. Moving up a bit up the Russian timeline, the Russian community had developed a love and expertise in the Arts. In today’s day and age, one of the aspects that is synonymous with Russian culture is the fact that Russian society has come to master just about every form of creative artistry. One of the areas of Russian culture to which they are known is for the Russian contributions to classical music. The Russians, Jewish, the Ukrainians, and the Gypsies alike, have come to add to the melodic sounds that are heard in the classical tunes of Russia. Russian society is most well known for the folk music that they were able to create. What makes these folk songs so important to Russian culture is the messages that even the very first folk songs exude. And of course, this warranted the dancing that is also known to be a very characterized part of Russian culture as we know it.
